Erhan Musaoglu, CEO & Founder of Logiwa, joined Freighwaves’ Grace Sharkey for an episode of “Point of Sale” to talk about Logiwa’s latest round of investment funding, the intention behind creating Logiwa’s industry-leading WMS, and what Musaoglu sees as the future of the high-volume direct-to-consumer (DTC) fulfillment industry.

Logiwa’s Series B Funding, led by NewRoad Capital Partners, has propelled Logiwa forward into its next phase of expansion and development. Logiwa WMS was formed to address the obstacles being created by today’s ever-changing ecommerce and supply chain trends. According to Musaoglu, traditional warehouse management systems lacked the configurability to incorporate new business rules and evolving client demands.

He goes on to explain that Logiwa was built to address the top 3 needs of new age fulfillment companies: High-volume order shipping, system flexibility, and fast time-to-value with implementation in just 4-6 weeks. Focusing on these three needs has helped Logiwa to achieve its rapid growth and success in recent years. In addition to their expansion into Canada and Europe, Musaoglu emphasized Logiwa’s commitment to continued investment in innovative technologies, including: AI and machine learning, integration technology, warehouse robotics, and more.
