Using the formula
We’ll use cubic feet (ft³) as the unit of volume measurement:

Total Warehouse Storage Volume (The total available space where inventory can be stored, excluding aisles, offices, and staging areas): 100,000 ft³

We apply the formula using these figures:
Space Utilization = (72,500 ft³ / 100,000 ft³) x 100
